Meet Dr. Timothy Wentworth, DDS
Dr. Wentworth graduated from Alfred University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After college, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Rochester for 3 years. Dr. Wentworth then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in the top of his class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Wentworth then completed his Oral Surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his training, he received advanced education in extractions, dental implants, diseases of the head and neck, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, and inpatient and outpatient anesthesia. Dr. Wentworth prioritizes patient safety, and does so by maintaining certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
After residency, Dr. Wentworth worked as an associate Oral Surgeon at Oral Surgery Associates of Western New York in Buffalo NY.
Dr. Wentworth is currently board-eligible and maintains active membership with the American Dental Association, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He currently lives in Rockville with his wife and two-year-old daughter.
