I broke a tooth and was referred to Greater Maryland Oral Surgery in Gaithersburg. Everyone there was kind and compassionate. Tania, the receptionist, was pleasant and helpful with paperwork and insurance information. Dr Niloy, my oral surgeon, listened to me about my being sensitive to anesthetics and gave me way less than he planned. He stopped when I said I thought it was enough, and turns out it was. At the end he said that was the least he ever used but was glad he listened to me. The surgeon's assistant Cassie was very helpful and attentive to my needs. She even offered me a banana (probably part of her own lunch) when I said I am diabetic and hadn't eaten. She gave me clear instructions for post surgery and follow up instructions. Way less stressful than expected! About as pleasant an experience as you could get for oral surgery appointment!

We had a wonderful experience with the oral surgeon Dr. Romanow and his female assistant who removed my 10-year-old son's extra tooth. From the consultation through the procedure, they were incredibly kind, patient, and caring. The doctor explained everything clearly, which helped ease my nerves, and the assistant was so gentle and reassuring with my son before and after his anesthesia... the whole process was a breeze. I was very anxious because of my son's young age, but they took such great care of him. I highly recommend this office + team!
