Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. Dr. Romanow or Dr. Wentworth are all board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As such, we are expertly trained to provide you with surgical care and provide anesthesia for your safety and comfort. We manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions and we practice a wide scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial injuries and TMJ disorders, as well as perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

The Greater Maryland Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery provides a full scope of services, including treatment of impacted teeth, corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. They diagnose and treat facial pain and injuries as well as TMJ disorders. They also perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

The practice has three offices to meet your needs. You will find them centrally located in Gaithersburg, Silver Spring, and Frederick. The offices are open Monday through Friday, 730 AM to 4 PM for your convenient appointment scheduling. They accept many forms of payment and work with your dental insurance company to maximize your reimbursement.
