I’ve got some traumatizing teeth pulling memories from childhood growing up in USSR. I’ve also had wisdom teeth pulled as a teen in the states and recall the recovery process to be quite long and painful so needless to say I was highly anxious about having to extract a tooth to make room for an implant. I was recommended to go to a particular practice but found them to be too busy, having long wait times after arrival and doc speaking so fast to catch up on running behind that I barely registered any info, the reviews weren’t great either. To my better judgement I decided to do my own research and came across Greater Maryland Oral Surgery & Dental Implants (Gaithersburg location) which had great reviews. I was surprised that the recovery was not bad at all, no pain if instructions are followed. I’m not sure what else to attribute this to besides the skill of the surgeon. The recovery for the implant (which follows a few months after extraction to allow proper time to heal) was very minimal, less than after the extraction/bone grafting which again was surprising. I really could not be happier with the choice. Less than a year later I’m back for a second implant, this one we were able to insert same day as extraction (it is a front tooth so the sooner the better!). I’m writing this review the day after the procedure and have no pain. Surgeon called to check how I’m doing after the procedure. I think my standards are high now because of the quality of care/service GMOSDI provides! -happy patient

On time friendly, courteous and professional service. Dr Romano explained the procedure, answered questions and performed the extraction and bone graft. I felt comfortable and in good hands. His assistant Veronica was the best.
