Dr. Romanow is an amazing doctor. He was 100% patient and attentive to all my questions during my initial consult. He put me at ease about all my concerns. During the actual dental treatment- he was 100% attentive and caring, kept me uniformed and comfortable. After the treatment, he called me at home to check in with me to ensure I was ok and gave opportunity for any questions. I wish (all) MDMs in the area are like him. He is a superb surgeon, takes time to do thibgs right (regardless of how sinple or complicated) the treatment. And he is personable, professional, caring. My experience was nothing short of unremarkable because the quality of care was so top notch that I barely remember my surgery happening at all. And that is amazing. I am the biggest scaredy cat and everyone from reception to nurse staff to the surgeon himself were highly professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable (not to mention approachable) during my initial consultation at the Frederick office and again when checking in for my 730am surgery at the Gaithersburg office. Both easy to drive to. They talked me through every step, ensuring they would take good care of me and that my nerves were nothing to be ashamed of. I underwent general anaesthesia for the first time in my life, had the IV put in my hand for the first time in my life, and wore the gas mask administering laughing gas (a courtesy of the team) for the second time in my life. When I woke up, I was surrounded by smiling faces and words of positivity. My designated driver was let in to collect me in my disorientation and we went home with my prescriptions and a care kit of extra gauze incase it was needed. It was a beautiful experience and I felt like I was in the best hands and surrounded by the best team. I couldn't be more excited and eager to spread the good word of Greater Maryland Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. Dr. Mistry is fantastic, I was so lucky and grateful he was my surgeon. He is so accomplished, honest, encouraging, and skilled. His nursing team is incredible as well and did an excellent job prepping me for surgery. I wish all of them the best for their upcoming year and will look forward to seeing them all my follow up appointment. If you need your mouth looked at by a specialist, this is the place to be. If you need a routine wisdom tooth extraction, this is the place to be. If you've had awful dental experiences and hate needles and whatnot, this is the place to be. Hands down.
